COVID 19 Policy

This update supersedes and over rights any prior policies. JT Mods reserve its right to change this policy and any other policy at its sole discretion without notice. 

New COVID-19 health and safety regulations apply to all workplaces across Australia and World Wide. 

As a result of the current COVID-19 Pandemic more people than ever are shopping online and are sending items via post.

International factors 

Deliveries to and from overseas depend on postal and delivery services in other countries.  

  • Restrictions and operational constraints are causing delays in most countries.
  • Some countries are not currently accepting parcels. 
  • Fewer international flights mean some items may be delayed.
  • Items may be held longer than usual by Australian and overseas customs authorities.

As a result of the current COVID-19 Pandemic, more people than ever are shopping online and are sending items via post.

    Many businesses are struggling to process the high number of purchases and cancellation at this time. This policy provides a guidance during these times.

    Cancellation of my purchase

    JT Mods reserves its rights to only provide a to store credit for cancellation. In exceptional circumstances a refund less any restocking fees will be provided. This is at the sole discretion of JT Mods and customer requesting a refund will need to provide evidentiary documentation outlining these exceptional circumstances. In these instance an email will need to be sent to service@jtmods.com.au

    If a customer has simply changed their mind a refund will not be provided. A change of mind may include, but not limited to:

    • Found it cheaper somewhere else
    • No longer willing to wait
    • Smashed my car/sold my car, etc.
    • Don’t need the part anymore
    • i found it on facebook market place or another social media platform
    • Another merchant has it in stock, etc. 

    Please note this is not an exhaustive list.

    Delivery delays

    During this time deliveries will take longer due to the impacts of COVID-19, including international delays as fewer flights and high volumes are being bought online. These factors will be affecting couriers and delivery business.

    Customers should anticipate that it may take longer than unusual for an online purchase to be delivered. This policy is intended to inform you that there may be potential delays. We will always remain to provide you with an update; however, any estimated time of arrival will be subject to change without notice. Estimate times of arrival are provided to us by manufacturers. In some cases, these estimated times will change without notice.

    These delays are due to circumstances arising from the impacts of COVID-19. Under these circumstances, a reasonable timeframe is likely to be longer than what is usual.

    Abuse of Staff

    While we understand you would like your purchase as soon as possible, we will not under any circumstances tolerate any staff members being verbally abused or otherwise by customers. We will not tolerate being threatened, belittled or have our brands name tarnished because of delays as a result of Covid-19.

    There has been circumstance were customers have abused our staff and JT Mods directly. These circumstances have been reported to local authorities. We will continue to report  these instances to local authorities should they occur. Furthermore, we will cancel your purchase without notice should this occur (in these circumstance) depending on the level of abuse you may not receive a refund at all.

    We expect to be treated with respect and dignity as this is how we will treat all our customers. No one deserves to abused under any circumstances.

    In these circumstances, we will cease all communication with you.
